As the rise of Pokemon Go has such a huge influence on everyone’s life, it has also become design  inspiration for many designers, including UX designers like Gene Lu and Duncan Hoge from R/GA Portland. They have created a crowdsource project called “PokeID” offering various Pokemon-inspired sneaker designs that can be paired with NikeID – a service provided by Nike that gives opportunity for customers to customize their own Nike merchandise.

They created Tumblr and Instagram page of PokeID with different Pokemon-inspired sneakers and palettes. There are 37 Pokemon-inspired designs available right now. Users just only click a Pokemon-inspired sneakers on the web page or they can create their own design by using Pokemon color palettes, and it will link to the NikeID site right away.
